I was born in beautiful, historic Malacca, Malaysia. When I was twelve, my parents decided to transplant us to Toronto, Canada. It took me years (about 20 of them) for me to actually call Toronto home — not because I do not like it but because, in my head, there are still many other countries and places I have yet to call home. But it's really true what they say, home is where the heart is.

Stefan, my very patient and long suffering husband, started reading blogs from the very beginning and I used to make fun of him for it. And then I started reading them and now I have about 250+ blogs in my RSS reader. If you were to see the list of what I read, you would get a tiny glimpse into my overactive brain. I really think I suffer from a very mild form of ADHD — either that or I have a very wide range of interests, many of which I will document here.

This blog was started out of sheer and utter laziness. With friends and family around the world, I was tired of emailing people updates of my life. My blog really is a snapshot into a moment of my life. I also have a passion for all things design, so (as if I had the extra time), I started a design blog called Le Petit Poulet.
