Will the rain never cease its torment? It has been raining for what feels to be forever to me. Before I left for my trip out west it had been raining steadily for two weeks. While I was out west, it rained in every city that I hit and now more. It's enough to drive a person insane.
It feels like living in London but with none of the benefits of living there. In addition to all this rain, I have had to have my teeth cleaned after a year of avoiding the dentist.
To be honest, I didn't purposely avoid it, time just flew by. Funnily enough, I don't mind going to the dentist, and since my dentist is hilarious, it makes it so much more pleasent. Until today.
I guess because of my lack of getting my teeth cleaned biannually and poor teeth cleaning (so hard to floss when you're so bloody tired) it was my first uncomfortable experience ever! I was just dying for the hygienist to get it over with and just when I thought she was nearly done, there she was scraping away again. Boo hoo. But at least no cavities, I have only had one in my adult life and would not care to repeat the experience again.
So the moral of the story is, go see your dentist and listen to the boy when he tells you to floss your teeth. I so hate it when he's right!
