little bitty girl

Every time I am here in B.C, I feel more and more that I should be here all the time. Despite a couple of days of rain, it has just been absolutely beautiful here. Life just seems to be a slightly different pace and everything is so unbelievably LUSH! Marie is probably snickering right now as I tend to exclaim that a lot when I am here but really, it's just so beautiful and green here.

I have been fortunate enough this time to have gone to some cities in the interior - Kamloops and Kelowna. Kelowna reminds me a lot of this Australian surf town that I had visited before called Noosa. It's got a pretty chilled, almost LA vibe and the view is simply incredible.

I also managed to visit Victoria, which is a super quaint town. The ferry ride was quite fun especially on the way back where the ferry was super delux. It even had a store in it and sold magazines, books and clothes! I guess it makes sense as the ferry ride is about an hour.

Unfortunately, I also managed to catch a terrible cold these past few days so have not enjoyed that part so much. I am longing to be home despite all this beauty....
