Great Girls

I have been meaning to write about this for about forever now. Well, actually since it happened but as per usual I am on the road again. The soundtrack of my life. Last Friday, I got to hang out with the fabulous crew. We really are terrible at getting together en masse. What can I say other than we have really busy lives.

We went to the Rivoli and it really is too bloody loud in there on the weekends. We were constantly shouting at each other but since the patio was full and the weather was way too hot and humid, we had thought it best to stay inside.

It was so nice to catch up. laugh and be like little girls again although we really aren't any more. Jen was showing us her new ipod case that she was designing. All I can say is watch out world, as it really one the f-ing, (see, mum? out of respect for you, my dear) cutest things I have seen in a really long time. Jen has been so busy with her work and if you haven't been following up, Jen is the groovy designer for Bennie and Olive and you can also buy her equally groovy accessories here.

Boutsy is a designer for a huge ass company and designs something ridiculous like 4 whole separate collections. How she manages to do all that and still be sane, I really do not know. Ra is Miss Fabulous Art Director for not one, but two magazines. It is only a matter of time before she storms NY with her fabulousness. World, watch out. Syl also designs for a fabulous local designer with the most divine use of fabrics. Next time you are in town, you absolutely must visit Ewanika on College Street. On the side, she also makes gorgeous wedding attire. Vera Wang, you ain't got nothing on our Syl! And Jamie, the oh-so-lucky-man who managed to snag our Syl, good job on the ring boy-o. One of us getting married, I need another cocktail! Amanda has after years of being part of the fashion industry has decided to do the smart thing, (unlike us other peons) and go back to school to pursue her heart's content. School, it simply boggles the mind but if anyone can do it, our Amanda can. Unfortunately, it means we'll lose her in the Fall.

When the heck did we start getting old and respectable?

Thanks girls for a great night! See you when I get home.
