little bitty girl

I haven't done one of these gossip blurbs in a really long time and today seems like the perfect day for it. I love that I have some friends who work in P.R and entertainment magazines because they always keep me on the D.L. Nothing perks me up like a juicy piece of news about some celebrity. I sometimes feel a little guilty about it but you know, some celebrities really ask for all the attention (you never see stuff on Johnny Depp as he seems to be pretty protective of his privacy) and they get paid a bajillion dollars just for being them (more than some third world country's GNP). So for those who whine about it and then are always in the paparazzi's face - Cry me a river already!

On to the juice -

Our favourite couple to get grossed out on, Tom and Katie annouced today that they were expecting a child. Looks like poor Katie, oops I mean "Kate" will now be stuck with that gay megalomaniac for life. It's a great pity really, as she had so much potential and her future looked so bright. I thought the last statement they had made was that they were practicing the celibacy thing to enchance their relationship? It's either an immaculate conception or somebody has been lying in that relationship. One can't blame poor Katie too much, as she is very young and brainwashing can do that to you.

Once again, rampant rumours about the Lachey-Simpson marriage falling to pieces are swirling in the airwaves. These two people need to decide what they heck they want from each other already. If I were Nick, I really would walk away. Although at this point in time, she is more the bankable star than he is. Still, it would drive me crazy that Jessica is so damn dumb and her family, especially her dad seems to be completely controlling. Just from both reality shows that the Simpson sisters have had, Joe Simpson is a classic example of how not to be a manager father. Nick seems to have had a very normal, practical upbringing and it must be hard to be with someone so high maintenance. Whether or not this relationship ends, it won't really be a huge surprise to anyone either way.

Is it me or does Lindsay Lohan just a really like to waste money on her cars? Twice now she's been in car accidents where witnesses have said that there has been no apparent paparazzi chase a la Princess Di. Girl, stop blaming the camera flashes already and take a defensive driving course. Once, can be blamed on the press, twice and in such a short period of time simply means you're just not a good driver.

Now to America's Next Top Model -

I really cannot believe that klutzy Sarah lasted for as long as she did. THE.GIRL.COULD.NOT.WALK.NORMALLY. I don't know much about modeling but catwalk walks can be taught, but not being able to walk even normally? It is just not acceptable. Did Cassandra never watch all the previous shows? If the judges say you need to cut your hair, just cut off your f-ing hair. I am so glad that both girls are off the show. Kim just isn't doing for me lately and she needs to really ante up her entire look if she wants to move further on in the competition. Coryn still is my number one pick although she really needs to come alive already. She has zero personality when she shoots and that is going to be a problem once the other girls start getting better at all the other things. I still have no idea why people like Bre's walk so much. Twiggy is right when she says she thinks Bre walks like a horse. Bre really does canter like an overexcited pony. The dark horse that has emerged it's beautiful head this week is Kyle. Previously, she looked very staid and insipid as a blonde but since her makeover, she seems to have developed a certain mysteriousness that makes her very appealing. Lisa really needs to be the next one to go as she still remains cocky and arrogant despite the fact that she is neither pretty or special in any way. Meow! Can't wait until next week's episode.
