little bitty girl

I seem to be expiring like rotten milk. At least all my government papers (passport, driver's license, health card) seem to be expiring at the same time. I've been running around trying to go to all the various different agencies. You would think they would all be at the same place. But no, that would be far too efficient for the government to operate that way. There is some unwritten law where if you need to ever get anything done, it has to at least take half an hour. Then there is the weird fact that for some reason, the parking meters near these agencies seem to be way more expensive than anywhere else in the city.

I wonder whether this is just some cosmic coincidence.
