I'm back! That didn't take long, did it? It's weird but those few days really helped clear up the verbal constipation within me.

Here's a visual diary so you can follow the journey of my ridiculously random brain.

I've been working a lot and it still feels like I am constantly playing catch up. Thank goodness for weekends. This is what I usually do on Saturdays, take pictures of Stef's footy team. It's really funny because I have a love-hate relationship with the game. I hate the fact that it takes up our entire summer (except for long weekends) and I love it because it's a really fun game to watch. I think I had decided at some point in our relationship that I was going to have to enjoy it or never see Stefan in the summertime. The team this year is hilarious, (as you'll be able to determine if you read the ridiculous write ups on their site) and is obsessed with naming people VP's of silly roles. I am VP Photography and AVP Hydration, which means I'm usually running water, taking photos and yelling abuses at the team (usually my own). We usually all go out as a team after and then are all terribly, terribly ill on Sundays.

Here's one of the latest pictures of beautiful little Ryo. Isn't this the cutest picture ever? It's of Marie and her two babies taking a nap together. I can't wait to see them but I just realized that I have not diapered a child in the longest time. I have to track down one of my many cousins' children and practice on them. In the rest of the pictures, Ryoko is wearing the cutest little dress that I bought her. I am so glad she got a chance to wear it before she got too big. You know how babies grow so fast. Marie doesn't want to give the dress away when Ryo is too big and wants to look for the teddy bear that will fit it. Huh, little does she know that if I ever have a daughter I'll want that dress back. It's called sharing.

Kelvin and Irene were in New York recently. They did lots of shopping and eating. My favourite type of trip. In between, they visited with my oldest brother Ken (do you notice we're all K-names? Our parents were obviously not very imaginative. Or maybe they thought it was really cool. We get made fun all the time. Thanks, Mum and Dad!) whom I haven't seen in forever. I love this picture of them.

I've been Ebay-ing it pretty hard core. Not really buying anything but I just love to browse. It's amazing what incredible things are listed that you can never find in one's own neighbourhood. Once, I wanted to buy a 16th century French armoire from France because it was listed for $500 or something really inexpensive. Unfortunately, Stef (Mr. Practical) put a stop to the fanciful idea stating that the shipping will be an insane amount. Why do you have to burst my bubble with your practicality all the time?

For some reason, I am really into dresses this season. My mama will be livid after she reads this. She bemoans the fact that I would never put on a skirt or a dress during my childhood without a big hullabaloo or some serious bribery. I thought this dress would be so cute with flats and a jean jacket. I am obsessing over prints (when am I never really) especially since we seemed to be bombarded with them in interior and fashion mags this season. This print would be super cute on one wall of a child's room, or framed.

When Stef was thinking of proposing to me, I told him I wanted a used car instead. Even though I absolutely LOVE my ring, I still feel cheated out of that car. I love this little one. Mama Kang used to zip around town in her little Fiat bug when we were kids and I've always loved those cars since. This little Fiat spider would be a great update to that. Maybe Stef will one day buy it for me for a milestone anniversary or after I pop out one of his 15 lbs children. What do you think, hubby-o-mine?

Oh that sleeping baby/ dog picture is adorable!

You also need to tell Mr. Practical that a car is much more practical than a ring.

Cheers and glad you're back!

We're in the midst of putting the finishing touches on a footy inspired zine... with drawings of many a Hawk player from the past, scarves and other essential footy fan items. It's so funny to think of you guys playing in Summer... over here, it's a muddy, rainy, winter sport.
Great care choice too... cheers, grache
