All The Dangly Bits

I tend to like to ask and talk about "inappropriate" things. The thing that I just don't understand is why people can't be honest and frank around the people they know. Especially if they know the other person is comfortable with it. Even if they aren't, sometimes I think society is way too P.C. about everything and boundaries need a little pushing.

I like to ask Stef questions.

Sometimes he's really taken aback. I don't know whether this has anything to do with his Anglo-Saxon upbringing that makes him so reticent. Or whether I am just too frank. It definitely doesn't have anything to do with my upbringing since both my parents are notoriously shy. I think the truth of the matter lies somewhere in between.

Plus, he's my husband, if I can't ask him questions, who else can I ask?

So we finally got a blast of winter weather these past few days. Ice, sleet, snow, the whole deal. It's been great actually. I've missed the snow and wearing of my real winter gear this season. As I was walking to work in -12 C (10.4 F) weather, a thought came into my head.

"Stef, do your dangly bits get cold when you walk to work?

"Pardon me? My what?"

"You know. Your dangly bits?"

"Like my family jewels?"

"Uh-huh"

"No, why would they? I mean, I wear underwear."

Somehow I think he's lying or his dangly bits just have no feeling. Because I was wearing tights and knee high socks and my thighs were freezing during that walk.

Which brings me to another thought.

When I was walking by the bus stop, there were a bunch of boys debating how in reality girls really wish they were males.

I can honestly say that I like being female. There are many reasons why I like being who I am but one of my reasons would definitely be the fact that I do not have penis envy. I simply would not care to have dangly things bumping against me while I walk. And other than the obvious reasons why a female/male would like a penis, don't they just seem a little untidy to you?
