Gollum! Gollum!

That's who I sound like right now. Stefan had a really terrible hacking dry cough for the past two weeks and, lo and behold, now I have it too. It's one of the many perils of marriage or living in close quarters with someone. I have barely been able to speak without having to cough half my oesophagus out. I am sure, secretly, Stefan is relieved that there is some semblance of quiet in our home.
Anyway, I just thought I would share pictures of what I've been up to lately (from left to right).
1. I got a haircut. I always feel like I get the same haircuts but my hairdresser assures me that they are ever so slightly different every time. The thing with having a best friend on the other side of the country is that we have to take pictures and show each other when we've gotten haircuts. I wish I could take better self portraits of myself. I am wearing one of my fabulous vintage finds (necklace) from a recent show. Many more to come as soon as I can figure out how to wear them.
2. I've recently realized that most of my friends my age are single right now. Since we live so close to the entertainment district, our place is usually the designated pit stop before going out. Every so often Stefan will come home just when we're in the middle of a chick rant and he'll try to sneak back out. The girls think it's a hoot and they do really love him. It's weird being the only non-single one but after several weeks of meeting boys who are dating/married trying to pick up my friends, I am quite happy to stumble home to my boy.
3. Mother's Day Lunch Kangaroo Styles. Oh, how we do love our seafood. I know it seems like we make the same thing every time but we don't really cook like this for ourselves and we really love to be able to eat this meal together. Stefan had gone out with his family nearby and was sad when he came home after he realized my mum hadn't made him any ribs. Stef is not a lover of seafood so my mum always makes him special Korean ribs.
4. We recently celebrated Stef's dad's big birthday. All the boys were together in one place, a very rare occurrence indeed. It's funny how Stef looks so short next to his brothers. My family is so used to seeing Stef and him being the biggest one amongst us, and was shocked to meet his even larger brothers. It was quite funny. I know as a family we're biased about this, but we think I definitely scored the most beautiful brother. My parents said,"Something about the twinkle in Stef's eye...." I am sure the other girls feel the same about their boys as well.
5. Have I mentioned that footy has started again? Every year I say I am going to retire and every year, I am out on the field running water and giving the umpires hell at every game. I have to say it's good exercise and since I am notoriously lazy, the only way I am going to run is if I am chasing something or being chased. It's going to be a very long summer.

Love the hair, the phot's the girls, the greatness! See you soon! XO
Woops, It sent twice - the first one with an intention of seeing you soon, the second with an uncertaintity because our lives cross too rarely, so here's the plot - I'm up for anything!
I spy some familiar brown & gold stripes... go Hawthorn! And, yep, it's going to be one long season for you.
see you, g
hey hey,....hope you feel better soon!! your haircut is adorable.
Chelle - Hey you...we keep missing each other at functions. Why do I only ever see you here? ;)
Gracia - We actually go by the name "Broadview Hawks" but we are affiliated with Hawthorn. I can never understand out of all the teams Stefan could have joined when he first started, why he was attracted to the team with the ugliest colours?
Jenny - Hi Jenny!! I FINALLY got rid of my dry cough (weeks later). Thanks for the complimeny, I am really loving this cut too...
