tap tap... anyone there?
Life, it seems is getting the better of my days these days. It's not for lack of content that I am posting less, it's simply lack of motivation. I don't know what it is but Lisa S had a great post on her site about the very same dilemma. Life just sometimes happens to take over.

I went to see this movie tonight with some girlfriends. For those of you unfamiliar with the premise, it's a dual story of Julia Child during her formative cooking years in Europe (mainly Paris) and the story of Julie Powell, who decides to blog her experience of cooking through Julia Child's book, Mastering The Art of French Cooking.
The movie was a fun treat, on so many different levels. First of all, it's a Nora Ephron movie and I really admire her dry witty writing, I think she writes for smart, intelligent women who try not to take themselves too seriously in life. Then there is also the the wonderful cast that is Meryl Streep (oh Meryl, how I love thee), Amy Adams and Stanley Tucci. It's not the type of movie that will garner Oscars, but it's definitely entertaining.
