BiB aka Future Krumper
Monday, November 23, 2009

This is our baby, whom we call BiB (Baby in Belly). ... Here is his/her's latest ultrasound. (I think he/she looks like me!) We can never seem to get a clear one because BiB is always too active. The technician, a rather stern brusque woman, quite hates us as 20 minute ultrasounds always become 45 minutes to 1 hour ones. I don't blame her, sometimes I get a little embarrassed that he/she can never just settle down for the woman to do her job.
The last time Stefan was at the ultrasound with me, BiB took a huge yawn and then started krumping. For those of you who don't know what that is, you can watch a video of what it is here. And the woman just said, "See? That is what he/she does every single time, the ENTIRE time!!" I just have to laugh and hope BiB got my mad dancing skills.
BiB is now kicking/punching ...it's the oddest feeling in the world and for now seems to be a very early morning riser/all night partier type of baby... He/she sleeps for most part of the day. We're really hoping it will be the reverse when BiB is actually here because we all know, Leyhane men cannot function on lack of sleep. Godmother Marie says that the baby is just getting us ready for our new schedule.
The tummy is progressing very slowly, although my mother assured me she did not pop out until she was about 7.5 months. I actually had to ask the doctor yesterday whether the baby was progressing properly because all the mothers at work keep on commenting how small my belly is for how far I am.
She had this funny look on her face and then said, "Well actually, the baby is about 2.5 inches longer than what is considered average. So your baby is probably going to be on the larger side...You're just carrying the baby in the back as opposed to your front"
Great! What every woman who will eventually give birth wants to hear. Stefan was like, "YES! Baby is big!"
I am not sure what he was so excited about because I've already told him that if BiB is bigger than 8 lbs at birth, he'd better be giving our jeweler a call.

HI BABY!!!!!!!!! : )
BIB is a good mix of you and stef. Have you been to SK lately. Wondering if the smell of SK bothered you at all? I couldn't eat there thru my whole pregnancy cause the smell of garlic, onions and fish sauce made me gag. Its gone now and I'm dying to have some street noodle!
Have been lucky as no food has been bothering me. Just can't have the same food twice in a row...Was trying to hook up an SK date with the Bootilicious! Let's make it happen!
